  • Front-End Technical Architect

    What your contribution will be

    You’ll join our “Product & Services” team to help implement end-to-end solutions (with The Glue based back-ends) for our customers, define the functional and technical roadmap of the product and assist our sales team in defining the optimal solutions for our customers.

    As a technical front-end architect:

    • You are responsible for defining the technical design & architecture of all front-end components
      • Choice of development frameworks & libraries
      • Choice of tooling for design, development, testing and deployment
      • Choice of external components related to a front-end solution (e.g. CMS, web-analytics…)
      • Defining code standards for all front-end code
    • You are responsible for identifying and designing reusable front-end building blocks, which can be easily reused in future projects to accelerate the delivery process
    • You review the code delivered by (internal and external) front-end developers to ensure correct progress, sufficient quality and alignment with coding standards (allowing easy maintenance & future reusability)
    • You align with the internal engineering team (i.e. providing requirements and validation of provided solution) for the design and development of proprietary accelerators for front-end delivery
    • You support sales initiatives and clients in defining the technical front-end requirements, agreeing on a solution and architecture and defining a work planning and estimation

    Your profile

    • You are versatile enough to work on different topics at different stages of a project life-cycle (i.e. sales pre-studies, design and architecture, development of automation processes of operations, run monitoring…)
    • You are highly analytical and able to understand the client’s non-functional requirements
    • You are passionate in following any new technological trends
    • You have good knowledge of CSS/HTML, JavaScript, React and NGINX

    What your contribution will be

    You’ll be the first to join our new “SRE” (Site Reliability Engineering) team, which will help optimize the way we run our product both for the “Product & Services” team (working on customer projects) and the “Engineering” team (working on the evolution of The Glue as a product).

    As an SRE engineer:

    • You are responsible for the improvement and maintenance of all (automated) processes to
      • Perform CI/CD (using Jenkins pipelines)
      • Setup and management of environments (on AWS)
      • Deploy solutions (as Docker containers using Ansible scripts and Kubernetes)
      • Kubernetes / OpenShift configuration
      • Monitor CI/CD pipelines, environment and solutions
    • You are responsible for pro-actively monitoring – limited to business hours (and intervening in case of issues)
      • The Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
      • The environments (ensuring the required availability of the environments, while minimizing the monthly cloud invoice)
      • The infrastructure usage (disk space, CPU usage…) to pro-actively detect any issues
      • The Glue solution (including Kubernetes / OpenShift)
    • You coach the members of the “Product & Services” and “Engineering” team in the tools & procedures for running the software
    • You support sales initiatives and clients in the setup required to properly run The Glue solution in their infrastructure, taking into account the client’s wishes, the product capabilities and strategy

    Your profile

    • You are versatile to work on different topics at different stages of a project life-cycle (i.e. sales pre-studies, design and architecture, development of automation processes of operations, run monitoring…)

    What your contribution will be

    You’ll join our “Product & Services” team to implement The Glue at our customers, define the functional roadmap of the product and assist our sales team in defining the optimal solutions for our customers.

    As a functional journey designer:

    • You are the link between the client’s project team and the developers of The Glue. In other words you transform the client wishes into documented solutions.
    • You convert the business requirements into microservices (called journeys in The Glue) and detail the data model, business process (described in Event-driven Processing Chains) and business processors (detail all steps to be performed by each action in the business process)
    • You test functionally the APIs of the microservices
    • You support the business during the User Acceptance Testing phase.
    • You functionally document the APIs, so that front-end designers and developers know how each API can be called

    Your profile

    • You are versatile to work both on business topics as on deep-dive application design
    • You are highly analytical and able to understand business needs
    • You are passionate in following any new trends in the financial services industry
    • You have a proactive approach and are able to work autonomously
    • You are agile minded
    • You are an enthusiast and dynamic team player
    • You are fully capable of working in English
    • You have an excellent knowledge of French or Dutch with, at least, a basic understanding of the other national language
    • You are willing to travel inside/outside Benelux
    • A basic understanding of APIs, event driven design, XML/JSON (schemas), Swagger, SQL and Postman is certainly a plus

    • You are the technical link between the client’s project team and the developers of The Glue. In other words you transform the non-functional client wishes into documented solutions.
    • You define the optimal technical solution for our client’s wishes, taking into account the product capabilities and strategy
    • You coach the development team and perform reviews of their deliverables
    • You support the customer in deploying The Glue solution in their infrastructure
    • You work together with functional journey designer(s) to deliver an optimal application design, which meets both functional and non-functional requirements (security, high availability, performance…).

    Your profile

    • You are versatile to work on technical topics at different stages of a project life-cycle (i.e. sales pre-studies, design and architecture, development, testing, roll-out…)
    • You are highly analytical and able to understand the client’s non-functional requirements
    • You are passionate in following any new technological trends
    • You have good knowledge of micro-services, APIs and XML/JSON (schemas)
    • You have a proactive approach and are able to work autonomously
    • You are agile minded
    • You are an enthusiast and dynamic team player
    • You are fully capable of working in English
    • You have an excellent knowledge of French or Dutch with, at least, a basic understanding of the other national language
